It is told the eminently rich Bokharan Yehudayoff

It is told the eminently rich Bokharan Yehudayoff
Built a house called "The Palace"
For the King-Messiah and the party of the righteous
So that such a delay will not occur
When his time will come to ascend to Jerusalem

An eucalyptus of about one hundred years is still growing in Ezekiel Street
And an inside courtyard faces the light
The vision of Jerusalem that is within the imaginative power
Built the city here and the holiness is concealed
In engraved stones

Without means and powerless to erect a house for the Messiah
I will erect a house not made of stone
But a spiritual house whose bricks are your noble thoughts
And your virtuous deeds and your pure words
One day I shall come and shall dwell within you
